Copper and fibre data cabling services from single points to complete building installations
Whether is a couple of extra points for a new member of staff to a full bespoke network solution, Wildwater Cabling Systems are more than happy to assist you every step of the way. We fully understand that not only must the system be able cope with todays demanding internet, video conferencing, email etc applications, it must also accommodate the applications of tomorrow.
Depending on your needs you will need the correct "category" rating for your network.
Cat5e is the ideal medium for todays high speed protocols such as gigabit Ethernet. This is usually the preferred choice due to cost.
Cat 6 offers more than twice the band width of cat 5e and can provide speeds of up to 10Gig (depending on the length of run). This provides an excellent platform for existing high speed applications but also provides for future applications.
Cat 6a is the latest of the twisted pair type cables, defined in February 2008 under the newest version of TIA 568-B standard. Augmented cat 6a operates at frequencies of up to 500MHz and supports transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbps.
